Web designers and developers use different techniques to create, share and discuss the sitemap of a website with their prospective or current clients.  Most of the time these techniques involve expensive diagram software, or office application ( which I used to use to create my sitemaps ). I knew there had to be a better way.

The solution that I found was an application by Scott Jehl called WriteMaps.

WriteMaps

WriteMaps is a free online application used to create, edit and then share your sitemap’s with your clients.

The sharing option is really just icing on the cake. This option is great for sharing information with contractors, employees and clients.

I can honestly say that WriteMaps has increase my efficiency and more importantly the communication between my clients & employees. I would suggest WriteMaps to anyone that is looking for an easier way create site maps.  Sign up for WriteMaps and let me know what you think about the software.
